Global Automotive and Transportation Leader, Global Client Service Partner

Randy Miller is EY’s Global Automotive and Transportation Leader. Based in Detroit, Miller is responsible for managing the firm’s Global Automotive and Transportation sector including developing the firm’s sector strategy and initiatives worldwide. The Global Automotive and Transportation sector is a network of more than 13,000 professionals crossing every segment of the automotive and transportation industry – including light and commercial vehicle manufacturers, component suppliers, retailers, auto finance companies, airlines, and logistics and shipping companies. The global sector team delivers a go-to-market strategy to help companies solve their biggest and most complex issues, including the future of mobility, retail and customer experience, supply chain optimization, and cost reduction, among others. Miller is responsible for advancing services around these issues, sharing leading practices across the sector and developing firm’s thought leadership agenda.

Miller has over 25 years of consulting and client service experience. In addition to his Automotive and Transportation Leader role, Miller serves as a lead Global Client Service Partner for a major automaker. In this role, Miller has worldwide accountability for planning and executing our client service strategy and the overall quality of our delivery to one of EY’s global priority accounts. Miller previously served as the Global Automotive Advisory Leader, where he was responsible for developing the sector’s automotive advisory strategy and go-to market plans, establishing communities around the world and sponsoring the firm’s automotive solution development. Miller has also had lead global account responsibility for a number of EY’s priority automotive and transportation accounts, and he has served as the global service line leader for EY’s Risk practice – a market leading practice of over 5,000 professionals providing Risk consulting, internal audit co-sourcing and outsourcing, and compliance services.

Miller has sponsored, authored, and spoken on numerous thought leadership pieces on global automotive trends, risks, and other manufacturing topics. Prior to joining EY in 2002, Miller was the Detroit Office Managing partner for Andersen Business Consulting and its global automotive sector leader.
